Danyelle Freeman is the author of Try This: Traveling the Globe Without Leaving The Table, published by Harper Collins, a modern day guide to dining out. Danyelle is also the founder and editor of Restaurantgirl.com, a hip and popular website that’s received critical attention for her reviews of New York’s best new restaurants and chefs. Danyelle served as the Chief Restaurant Critic for the New York Daily News for over two years, becoming the first non-anonymous critic in the country. She was a regular judge on Top Chef Masters – Season Three, and more recently Kitchen Casino on the Food Network. She also serves as a frequent food expert and critic for Dr. Oz. She has been featured in various print and online publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, the New York Post and New York Observer, Real Simple, Lucky, Oprah.com, Everyday with Rachael Ray, US Weekly, and Where to Dine. She is also a regular contributor to People Style Watch’s “In/Out Section.” Danyelle has consulted on several restaurant projects in New York as well as for larger food brands, like Unilever. A graduate of Harvard College, she lives in New York City.
Camilla Marcus is the co-founder of TechTable, a hospitality technology thought leadership platform, and an active angel investor. She brings a broad base of experience across business development, hospitality ideation, culinary operations, and real estate. Previously, she was the Director of Business Development for Union Square Hospitality Group, the family of hospitality ventures founded by Danny Meyer. She has also worked in real estate investing for Colony Capital and CIM Group and in development and operations with various NYC restaurants, including dell’anima with Epicurean Management and Riverpark with Crafted Hospitality. She received a JD/MBA from New York University, an AA from the International Culinary Center, and a BS from The Wharton School. She is also a mentor in residence for TechStars New York and a board member for Wellness in the Schools in New York City.
Olivia Young is Brand & Communications Director for the Altamarea Group, a global hospitality group in food and beverage, and President of OY& Co., a full service hospitality consulting and brand development firm. As one of the founding executives of the Altamarea Group, she joined from Food & Wine magazine to work for Ahmass Fakahany, former President & COO of Merrill Lynch & Co., and award winning Chef Michael White to develop and execute a P.R framework for the fast growing group. Expanding on her daily role at Altamarea Group, Olivia founded OY & Co., a full service hospitality consulting and brand development firm in July 2014. OY & Co., specializes in brand consulting, marketing, talent management and partnership collaborations for burgeoning food & hospitality brands, food tech initiatives, food & beverage and hospitality products servicing clients in New York City, Miami and abroad.
